Yes I know it's boring but we have to write this stuff. I know that no one reads it but I would urge you to, especially the section on cancellation and amendments.
Terms and conditions always sound harsh and inflexible. Please talk to us, we will always try and 'work something out'. We would like to think that this boring stuff is a last resort.
You should be aware that we are not covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations (they replaced the Distance Selling Regulations) because our products are made to measure. Therefore no refunds can be given or returns accepted for products that you just 'don't like' or have measured incorrectly. However we will always try and help so please contact us if any of our products disappoint you in any way.
A 6 month warranty is given. Our warranty does not cover the following:
--General wear and tear
--Neglect or abuse of your product
--Any external damage such as, but not restricted to, exposure to water, weather, fire, smoke, smoking, sunlight, or damage by animals or insects.
--Theft or accidental damage
--Obviously fabric or curtain track / pole problems aren't covered by us as we don't supply those products.
We will, at our discretion,
Repair or replace the product if returned to us (postage/insurance prepaid by you)
Refund the purchase price of the product if it is returned to us (postage/insurance prepaid by you).
You must contact us first, please don't just send the products back. If you do you may not be covered under the warranty and will have to pay to have the products returned to you.

You can cancel your order within 48 hours of your fabric being received by us. The fabric will be returned to you but at your expense plus a £5 fee. You will receive a refund of your deposit by cheque less the postage costs and the fee. The cheque will be made payable to the name given during the order process. This will be posted to you within either 48 hours of the cancellation or 48 from when your deposit cheque clears but only to the address on the order. A cancellation request must be by email and received by us before the end of the 48 hour period. The email must be from the email given during the order process. The cancellation email must contain the order reference, the name and address given during the order process and the deposit amount and total amount. These conditions are in place to ensure that refunds are only given to the person that placed the order.
After the initial 48 hour period from when the fabric has been received no refunds will be given under any circumstances. This is because we may well have started making your products and as they are made to measure the products cannot be reused. You can still cancel your order in that you don't pay for the finished product but it will not be delivered.

The amendment email must contain the order reference, the name and address given during the order process and the deposit amount and total amount. Every part of an order, i.e. the drop, width, lining etc., can be amended. You can only amend an order once. After that no refunds will be given under any circumstances.
When we have received your fabric we will confirm that and give you an estimated completion date. This time period is when the finished products leave our workshop. It does not include delivery time as we have no control over that. However we try and deliver goods within 3 weeks of receiving an order. We will notify you if it all goes wrong and we need longer to complete your order. This will only be in exceptional circumstances. You can, of course, contact us at any time and request an update of the progress.
Delivery is made by a courier company. All deliveries can be tracked by you and we will supply that information. All deliveries require a signature so please ensure that someone is available. If the courier is unable to deliver for whatever reason and require additional payment to do so we will contact you and request such payment. The products will not be redelivered until this payment is received. The products we send out are securely packaged and shower proof. However as you can understand we cannot be responsible for damage incurred once the products leave our workshop. We will endeavour to claim from our insurance with the courier company but offer no guarantee of this. All products become your property as soon as they are handed over to the courier company. From that point we have no control over them. If products don't arrive as per the tracking information and you have no notification from the courier company, i.e. a card through the door, then please contact us and we'll endeavour to help.
All measurements must be in centimetres (cm), this is stated clearly on the 'Get a Quote' form. Our warranty is invalid if you provide incorrect measurements. The 'How to Measure' web pages are a guide. Therefore we will not be liable for any errors resulting in incorrect measurements from using the guide. As always, if you need any help with measuring please contact us.
