Types of Lining for Blinds

Choosing a lining for your blind is about how you want the blinds to look when they're fitted but also in which room they're for. For instance interlined blinds can look very plush when lowered, whereas thermal ling is excellent for bathrooms or drafty windows. Blackout is perfect for bedrooms, especially during the brighter evenings in summer and for children's bedrooms.

Standard

A good polycotton lining suitable for all blind styles.

Cotton

A more luxurious 100% cotton lining. This lining will make blinds hang better.

Blackout

As the name suggests, a useful lining if you want a dark room when the the blinds are down. Often used in bedrooms. Can also help with draughts.

Coloured Linings

Lining doesn't just come in a cream colour. There are many different options. A coloured lining can be striking in a contrast colour.
